Who We Are

davinaDavina brings extensive experience to the Mediation Moves dispute resolution practice. As an NMAS accredited mediator qualified across a range of fields Davina has been working with people in conflict for over 15 years. She effectively engages with businesses, families, schools and communities to bring relief to the stresses of their conflicts outside the court process. As a reliable and thoughtful practitioner, Davina provides creative and supportive new ways to approach entrenched disagreements, empowering individuals and their relationships.

Davina’s academic background is in psychology, law, and postgraduate conflict resolution. She has many years of employment in facilitation and mediation, enabling her to bring a breadth of knowledge and skills to the mediation room. Valuing people’s diversity, Davina’s approach to mediation is warm and non-judgmental, thorough, and practical.

Davina has been employed in conflict resolution with the NSW Department of Attorney General & Justice, the Australian Human Rights Commission and Relationship’s Australia. She has facilitated complex meetings for sentencing and restorative justice for adult offenders and victims of crimes. She has mediated issues involving race, sex, religious and human rights disputes in the workplace and community across Australia.

who we areAs a Senior Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, Davina regularly assists families to move forward with their lives with harmony and security after parenting and property disagreements. Davina’s experience with complex family conflict, including domestic and family violence and mental health issues, provides her with a solid depth of understanding in the family field. In addition, Davina is a qualified child inclusive practice practitioner, working with children in parenting separation disputes.

During 2023 Davina has continued to further her mediation skills with elder mediation and conflict coaching training.

Davina works collaboratively with other practitioners as the need arises; drawing on her extensive network of fellow mediators, lawyers, therapists and other specialists and services.

Davina is a Nationally Accredited Mediator (NMAS), registered Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner and member of the Resolution Institute and Australian Mediation Association. She is a trained and experienced group and individual clinical supervisor and child inclusive practitioner.
